Thriving through change
Dear reader,
In 2023, I decided to make way for a new face, a new force and a new inspiration after 15 years on the helm of this company which was founded by my grandfather, father and uncle in 1955. Operations are now in the hand of an external management.
Rest assured, the owning Hager family are very much committed to the legacy and the future of our business. Our family values remain at the core of our business, driving us forward in every endeavor. It was my privilege to lead Hager Group, kicking off a major transformation which saw us going from offering products to offering products and solutions. The expansion into selling digital services and energy efficient solutions operating worldwide is just at the beginning.
My endeavours have always centred around two key questions: what do our customers need? And how can we create a thriving, future-proof business in tune with our values?
I believe we have found some answers to these questions and have achieved remarkable developments in key areas. I am also conscious that we must continue relentlessly to pursue these at all times; it is never over.
Current times with their frequent crises are a huge challenge to people and economies everywhere. We have shown resilience in the past years and our employees have shown their strong commitment to our company and our customers.
This gives me the confidence that despite the unstable geopolitical situation we will keep on our path. Digitization, sustainability and the trust in our capabilities are the basis for a prosperous and resilient future.
I look forward to supporting the business from another perspective as it continues to thrive under the leadership of our new CEO Sabine Busse. You can be assured that my commitment, passion and energy for our company, customers and partners remains unchanged.
The future is electric.
Let’s shape this future together.
Yours,
Daniel Hager
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
